I provide a broad range of holistic financial planning advice to private individuals , and my experience is in the building and management of investment portfolios & retirement plans.

As the majority of my new clients come from personal recommendation they tend to fall into two categories:

  • • The busy working clients who appreciate regular reviews to assist them in planning for the time they will not want to continue at their current pace.
  • • The retired clients who want peace of mind to fully enjoy their free time knowing their investment assets are flexible enough to meet their current and future needs and to minimise any potential Inheritence tax liability.

I work with these clients to invest their funds, plan their retirements and insure their futures.

I particularly enjoy and specialise in working with other professionals, managing the investment assets, and other financial needs of their clients.

Career History

My career has been in giving regulated advice in financial services since leaving college in 1980 at the age of 18.

In my early financial Services career I spent 13 years as an adviser with the Prudential, before a move to London & Manchester to take up a management position. Barclays Wealth followed in 1998 for the following 9 years. In 2007, I was invited by Mike Dawes’s to join CarterDawes Practice in which our views, objectives and ethos matched enabling us to continue to provide honest, ethical and truly independent Advice.

The last 30 years have been exciting and rewarding, many loyal clients have been with me for over 20 years and I am now advising their children.

I am pleased to say CarterDawes Practice has grown in adviser number and assets under management, with this in mind, the future looks bright.
